New Decade, New Website

Just over a year ago, I launched noyoucantcallmeliz.com so that I could better connect with all of you. I’d set up a couple of basic, short-lived blogs in the past, but never this kind of website, so I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into. That said, mistakes were made. Mistakes that controlled what I could share with you, how I could share it, & how I could control its potential growth. You live & you learn, right?

I’m now super excited to introduce you to the new noyoucantcallmeliz.com right here. Same address, now with a ton of flexibility. Not noticing a huge difference? You shouldn’t yet, but big things are coming. I hope you stay tuned & enjoy what’s around the corner!

plans for 2020

There’s not much on my plate yet except traveling & moving. Yep, I’ll be moving for the first time in 4 years. I’ve been preparing by donating several boxes of clothing & home decor. I’ll also have some larger/nicer items to post for sale over the upcoming months. I don’t think I’ll ever be a true minimalist but I definitely want to move in that direction. This is just one reason that now, more than ever, I’m focused on purchasing quality pieces that will last. The move won’t be happening until summer but I’m so excited about it. Can I start packing now?

As for travel, right now I have a mother-daughter trip planned to London & will be attending CrimeCon in Orlando! Last year CrimeCon was in nearby New Orleans so it was a no-brainer that I’d attend. We loved it so much that we’re going again this year even though it’s a plane ride away this time. If you’re interested in true crime you definitely need to check it out.

the big 3-0

That’s right. Later this year I’ll be turning 30 & I’ve got a lot of mixed feelings about it. How have your 30s compared to your 20s? Any bucket list items I should check off before I made the jump? Let me know in the comments!
